Awoke around 0715, not a bad nights sleep, a flat bed on the flight did help. Cup of tea, popped some pills, bit of breakfast, shower dressed. Went to the library to return the books with Suzie and Michael and then onto the local supermarket for a spot of shopping. Dropped home for lunch, played the Xbox with Michael for a fair while and then relaxing walk about and dinner. The birdlife is rather nice here, OK we all hate those bloody parakeets but at least they are meant to be here.
That’s all for today, a nice relaxed day one, perhaps one of Phil’s bikes will get dusted off and ridden this week. Sad news from NZ but we are (I am) still hoping to visit if only to the North Island, Keith seems to think its OK, hopefully flights wont be too bad in 3 weeks time.
