Market Day. Today we went to Prahran Market, located not far from St Kilda and in Melbourne somewhere. It’s pretty much the same as Borough Market, but for me less good, only because there was no point really buying all that much! Ice cream was good though, and the cook shop was fantastically awesome.
We walked all around it and in and out of every area, eventually ending up having a coffee before ambling to find somewhere for lunch. I was most impressed to find a condom shop on route, but really why is there need. Anyway lunch was good, a large pizza about 10 inches across, God knows what a small would look like.
More ambling after lunch to a little coffee shop with an Irish girl, she was pretty typical irish, leprechaun looking and sweet. Only joking, but she was irish. I bought a book on Cadel Evans the cyclist, he’s australian and pretty good so that’s one to read.
Pretty standard day, i am really living it as if I lived here and just dont want to be a tourist, although the amount of Ice cream eaten is of touristic volumes. I weigh 102kg now!!! Obese.
I didn’t mention we drove into town, so that was cool, i like driving, but sticking to the 100km limit is so hard, i’m knocking 120km pretty often but i’m learning. Tantine seems a pretty cool passenger, fairly chilled and relaxed so must be doing something right in the driving department. Well got home in about 45 mins so not bad, had a headache so the rest of the night was just reading and that was it!
