We left Christchurch today, after a good time with Keith and Fiona. Keith prepared a typical load of kiwi pies for lunch before we left for the airport, only 5 minutes away and back off to Melbourne. Usual airport rubbish, just make sure you tick no to everything, they’ll never suspect a thing! Anyway we got through customs, bought some bits in the duty free and that was it.
Watched 127 hours on the plane, bit rubbish i thought, but i’m told the book is great and also it was on a tiny screen, maybe it will be on in Business Class on the way home. Flight fine, food OK, arrived 15 mins early i think so that was nice, although Suzie had to come out in rush hour to get us with 2 boys so she had a rather busy journey.
Not much else to report, had a nice dinner and went off to bed a little tired, not too bad though.
