It rained rather hard last night, but hey it was warm and raining unlike the UK, had a glorious 12 hours sleep too.
We had the final day of Michael’s birthday celebration, a trip to the local (about 8km away) chinese. A lovely place, with a menu most like the one at Holmesdale Road where you choose what you want and it’s brought although here they offer you stuff freshly cooked and you say Yes or No. The kids enjoyed it so that was good, and I think William and Michael were rather happy too. The calamari there was lovely.
The rest of the day was very leasurely, Phil baked bread and I went for a walk, nice walk, although the thongs tend to rub a bit, maybe not the best thing to wear walking. I know Cath with be thinking of Brisbane right now and the Quicksilver or Mambo shop where we discovered the aussie meaning of this word.
Anyway thats all for today, back to school tomorrow 🙁
